Barney sighed and reluctantly put his hand back down. “I got bored of it, I guess. And I’m also in a relationship, if you must know, so I guess you can say someone did change my mind…Anyway, I don’t see what you find so terrible about my lifestyle. Most of the girls I was with should’ve known what they were getting into if they were willing to do the things they did.” He scoffed.Barney nodded. “Yeah, pretty much. But, you know, I don’t really do that much anymore. I was just…testing that scam out. I do call some girls back, you know, if I think they’re eligible for multiple entry.” Barney winked, then raised his hand. “Word play high five?”Barney looked thoroughly offended. “Not every woman. I’ve set some standards, you know. I don’t usually do over thirties. Only sometimes if they’re really really hot. Or when I’m feeling nice.” He sighed. “Right now, I’m just seeing if the FBI thing would work. I guess…not?”
“No, it’s not really working. Well not for me. It might work for some bimbo at a bar. I’d feel bad for her though. Let me guess, you sleep with them once, promise to call then never do?” Kate shook her head. That was just wrong.
Kate took a small step back, crossing her arms. “No, I’m not going to give you a high five. You treat women terribly even if you claim you don’t do it anymore. What did someone change your mind?”
“Well whoever you’re with is probably lucky. Maybe if you didn’t try the whole FBI pickup line I might have thought you were nicer. What I find terrible is that you were pretty much a man whore..” Kate shook her head again. “Even if they did know you shouldn’t have taken advantage of them.”
